Edward 'Squints' Murphy

This is the obituary of my grandfather, Edward Murphy. He died in 1993. Poor eye sight donned him the nickname Squints. Recently I've been reading old letters that he'd be writing to my grandmother while serving in the war.

Hello Friends... I've started this blog to tell a little bit about my story. My story as a piece of many. Sure there are many Murphy's out there, but I think that my family history is a unique one. It's here where I'll share the history that I know. It may be kind of a scattered history, but things will be categorized and grouped together. Hopefully we'll have some contributors along the way.
